Sandua Footrest

Sandua is an elegant outdoor furniture collection designed by Robert Hapelt for the Manutti brand. The series includes different elements, like a dining chair, upholstered armchairs, a footrest and a line of floor lamps. Structure in teak wood, shell in Dicord® braided rope, the cushion is covered in fabric suitable for outdoor use.

The young German designer went in search of craft traditions wisely combined with the contemporary style and trends. Sandua harmoniously combines the solidity of teak wood and the organic forms of the woven shell with a natural charm. The whole is sweetened by the soft and large cushions. A modern approach blends with the traditional weaving techniques, giving rise to unparalleled aesthetic and comfort.

The seats from the Sandua collection are proposed in two combinations a base in natural teak wood with Dicord® weaving in a Pepper finish and a cushion covered in Salty Dunes fabric, or a base in dark teak wood with Dicord® Anthracite weaving and a cushion coated with Crisp Water fabric.
